Guidance for your creative work & ancestral journeys.

  • I offer one-on-one guidance for artists engaging Jewish creative practice as a living, evolving framework.

Together, we explore how Jewish cultural traditions and spiritual technologies can be activated within contemporary art. My approach is rooted in over two decades of work as a visual artist and educator, and in a commitment to restoring ancestral Jewish knowledge in spaces where it has often been abstracted, aestheticized, or erased.

I work with artists at all stages of their practice. Sessions are held online and can take the form of a studio visit, creative consultation, or a more process-oriented, reflective space, depending on your needs.

Sliding scale: $96–156 for one-hour sessions. We can meet once or establish an ongoing rhythm of support. To begin, send a brief email (below) sharing your questions or what you’re seeking, and we’ll take it from there.

Payments can be sent via Venmo or Paypal (julie.weitz@gmail.com).

If my rates feel out of reach, I’m happy to discuss reduced rates so we can find something that works for both of us.

  • I offer consultations for individuals and groups planning Jewish ancestral journeys to Poland and Lithuania.

Drawing on my archival research, Fulbright experience, and long-standing artistic collaborations in eastern Europe, I support the development of travel itineraries, creative rituals, and facilitated journeys rooted in ancestral memory, Yiddish culture, and radical imagination.

I work with you to shape experiences that honor both grief and discovery, engaging sites of historical and familial rupture, while creating space for connection, creativity, and reflection. This can include developing site-responsive rituals, integrating Yiddish songs and texts, meeting with local memory activists, and fostering forms of liberatory Jewish expression grounded in relationship to land and community. My approach also emphasizes solidarity with oppressed and marginalized groups, situating Jewish memory within broader social and political contexts.

I offer a range of packages for different needs and scales of engagement. To begin, I invite you to schedule an hour consultation to discuss your vision and explore how we might work together.

  • All packages can incorporate creative, ritual, or site-responsive elements, depending on your interests. There is also the option to work with Julie in person, with on-site facilitation available.
